Welcome to Digital Quest Room Adventure Vancouver. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our digital escape room facility and services located at 560 Granville Street, Vancouver, BC V6C 1X6, Canada. By visiting our facility or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Digital Quest Room Adventure services, participating in our digital quest experiences, or making a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
2. Description of Services
Digital Quest Room Adventure provides technology-driven escape room experiences featuring virtual reality, augmented reality, and interactive digital puzzle systems. Our services include:
- Interactive digital quest room experiences
- Team building and corporate events
- Private party bookings and special occasions
- Educational technology demonstrations
- Customer support and assistance services
All experiences are designed for entertainment purposes and require active participation from guests. Our adaptive difficulty system ensures appropriate challenge levels for all skill ranges.
3. Booking and Reservations
Reservations can be made through our website contact form, by phone at +1 604 555 6390, or by email at [email protected]. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our staff.
Booking Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement: 12 years old (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult)
- Group sizes: 2-8 participants per session
- Advance booking recommended, especially for weekends and holidays
- Payment required at time of booking or upon arrival
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our business operations:
Cancellation Terms:
- 24+ hours notice: Full refund or free rescheduling
- 12-24 hours notice: 50% refund or free rescheduling
- Less than 12 hours: No refund, rescheduling subject to $25 fee
- No-shows: No refund or rescheduling
Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method. We reserve the right to cancel sessions due to technical issues, emergencies, or insufficient participation, in which case full refunds will be provided.
5. Safety and Health Requirements
Your safety is our top priority. All participants must comply with our safety guidelines and health requirements:
Safety Guidelines:
- Follow all staff instructions and safety briefings
- Report any health conditions that may affect your participation
- Wear appropriate footwear (no high heels or sandals)
- Inform staff of any allergies or medical conditions
- Do not participate if under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Health Considerations:
- Virtual reality experiences may cause motion sickness in some individuals
- Flashing lights and visual effects are used throughout our experiences
- Physical movement and coordination are required for some activities
- Pregnant women should consult with staff before participating
6. Code of Conduct
To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, all guests must adhere to our code of conduct:
- Treat staff and other participants with respect and courtesy
- Follow all facility rules and staff instructions
- Do not damage or attempt to damage any equipment or property
- Maintain appropriate language and behavior at all times
- Respect the immersive experience of other participants
- Photography and recording are only permitted with staff permission
Violation of our code of conduct may result in immediate removal from the facility without refund.
7. Limitation of Liability
By participating in Digital Quest Room Adventure experiences, you acknowledge and assume certain risks. Our liability is limited as follows:
- We are not liable for personal injuries resulting from your failure to follow safety instructions
- We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal property
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for your experience
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Participants engage in activities at their own risk and discretion
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. This section outlines how we handle your personal information:
- We collect only necessary information for booking and safety purposes
- Personal data is protected according to Canadian privacy laws
- We may capture photos/videos during your experience for marketing purposes
- You may opt out of marketing communications at any time

9. Intellectual Property
All content, technology, puzzles, scenarios, and experiences at Digital Quest Room Adventure are protected by intellectual property laws:
- All game content, software, and technology are proprietary
- Recording or reproducing our experiences is strictly prohibited
- Our name, logo, and branding are protected trademarks
- Sharing solutions or spoilers online is discouraged and may violate terms
10. Technology and Equipment
Our experiences rely on advanced technology and specialized equipment:
- Equipment must be used only as instructed by staff
- Participants are responsible for any damage caused by misuse
- Technical difficulties may occasionally affect experiences
- We reserve the right to modify experiences based on technical requirements
